After 35 years with Northwestel I had a list of experiences where they created problems by protecting their monopoly. I switched to Public Mobile but the service seems unreliable. In busy periods SMS messages seem to be batched and transferred hours later.
We had to go for medical treatment in BC with our son, while at BC Childrtens hospital the phone would be dropped from service frequently which created real hardships. Meals for patients are arranged by phone while hospitalized and frequently we could not arrange meals with the kitchen service at the hospital. Frustration continued for 10 days and it was predictable enough to be be coincidental.
