Good afternoon Mr Kachi.

It again only came to DHH Coalition’s attention that it missed two more “typos” in its CRTC TNC 2020-326 Intervention dated October 18, 2020. The third paragraph therein read in part as (with red lettering added for emphasis):

DHH Coalition advocates for making telecommunications goods and services completely and functionally accessible for the DHH community in Canada.

And the fifth paragraph reads in part as (again with red lettering added for emphasis):

DHH Coalition agrees the March 30, 2024 deadline for decommission of any current ILEC 911 network component(s) is reasonable and appropriate as long as the new ILEC NG 911 system(s) will still accept teletypewriter (TTY) calls – something DHH consumers in Canada currently make and are expected to continue making past the proposed deadline of March 30, 2024.

DHH Coalition is just a group, a team and a coalition made up of three organizations – those being DAANS, NLAD and OAD. DHH Coalition emphasizes that it does not represent “consumers in Canada”. Therefore the phrase “in Canada” was removed accordingly from the amended Intervention. No other changes have been made to this Intervention. DHH Coalition sincerely apologizes for this oversight.

DHH Coalition would very much appreciate having its Intervention now on public record be swapped with the attached amended version to avoid any confusion in this matter. Might this be possible?

Thank you and much appreciated,

Best regards,

It only recently came to our attention that DHH Coalition had a “typo” in its CRTC TNC 2020-326 Intervention dated October 18, 2020. The first paragraph therein read in part as (with red lettering added for emphasis):

DHH Coalition is intervening on behalf of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) consumers in Canada with a special focus on ensuring the deadlines proposed in Paragraph 11 of this proceeding have no negative impact(s) on this particular accessibility group.

The words “in Canada” should not have been in the final version. The sentence should have read as:

DHH Coalition is intervening on behalf of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) consumers with a special focus on ensuring the deadlines proposed in Paragraph 11 of this proceeding have no negative impact(s) on this particular accessibility group.

No other changes have been made to this Intervention.

Might it be possible to swap our Intervention now on public record with the attached amended version? If not, how do you suggest we enter the amended Intervention into CRTC’s public record?

Thank you and much appreciated,
