Given the urgency of the recommendations in the recent BTLR Panel report and the stated intention of government to respond quickly, new policy could emerge in the months leading up to the May public hearing. Such changes - and the Corporation's response to them - will affect proposals made in Parts #1 and #2 of this intervention bercasue they reflect suggestions for contemporization of the national public broadcasting service made to and adopted by the BTLR panel and will therefore require clarification.
