CJAM is an integral part of the media in Windsor & Essex County. Their reach exceeds their perceived target group - regular citizens with only distant connections to the university regularly tune in to CJAM. CJAM has aired a wide spectrum of opinion and thought - important in a city where media is controlled by only a small minority, none of whom reside in the community (Canwest, CBC and CHUM Group). We are also inundated with media from Detroit, and CJAM is a great alternative. I love CJAM - it's the station where you can hear your neighbours, and where all ideas are welcome.
